A collaboration between County Durham & Darlington

NHS FT and Inhealthcare to develop new digital health

An opportunity to work with new partners to support

sharing of business cases, governance and training.

Enabling self patient management, improving triage,

health economy efficiency and access improvement.

Early areas of development were INR, nutrition, weight

Design principles

Patient choice

– given a choice on how to connect with their clinical teams, including via 3rd

party apps, websites, and devices.

Security & Governance

– N3 data standards are the minimum for any IG framework and data system

management.

– NHS number as a key identifier

– be able to be integrated into the GP care record system

Interoperability

– Platform APIs are published with no charge for accessing them.

– Where integration has already been built into the platform – such as with GP

and hospital systems - there is no charge to use this integration (although

API charges & licence restrictions may still apply from the 3rd party).
