Saturday Vigil Mass and the 9:00 & 11:15 am

Mothers’ Day Envelopes: Please fill out your
Mothers’ Day Envelopes and return them to
the Parish Office via the collection basket or
drop off by Friday 29 April. The envelopes will
be placed on the altar and your intentions for
your loved ones will be offered. Mothers’ Day
is Sunday, 8 May.

Police Appreciation Prayer Service,
Wednesday, 4 May at the Cathedral 9:00 am:
Law Enforcement, their families, the
community and clergy are invited to spend an
hour in prayer with our local law enforcement
and show appreciation for their dedication,
sacrifice and service. Organized by the
Charleston Illumination Project.
Traditional Latin Mass at St. Mary’s: St. Mary of
the Annunciation has a First Saturday Traditional
Latin Mass. It is a Missa Cantata or sung Mass in
the Extraordinary Form or according to the Missal
of Pope John XXIII. The next Traditional Latin
Mass will be on 7 May 2016.

Sacrament of Marriage
Either the bride or the groom must
be a practicing Catholic and
registered at the Cathedral for at
least twelve months before
scheduling a wedding date and
beginning the six month marriage
preparation. The bride/groom must
be an active parishioner, regularly
attending Mass on Sundays and
Holy Days of Obligation, and use of
the envelope system in support of
the parish. The Wedding Policy
Booklet may be found on the
Cathedral Website.
