MOONSHOT FAIR Parents and children alike ‘aimed high’ and ‘reached for the stars’ when they attended our first Moonshot fair on Wednesday. They completed challenges, performed Moonshot music, asked Moonshot questions on our green screen, checked out our new Moonshot website and helped design a Moonshot school of the future. The children loved collecting stickers on their passports and shared their understanding of Moonshot thinking with the adults who visited. 100%100%100%100% of visitors felt they now know more about Moonshot thinking as a result of the fair and 98%98%98%98% of parents feel they know why Moonshot thinking is such an important aspect of our school. 66% 66% 66% 66% of visitors are hoping to follow us on Twitter – will you add to this? Wow! Who knew Moonshot was so brilliant!
A Moonshot Fair Parent
KS1 Parents joined us for a Design and Technology workshop. We had lots of fun making scarecrow heads out of paper plates and mini
scarecrows with lolly sticks. The children developed their cutting and joining skills. A great time was had by all. Thank you to everyone who came along and
helped.
Forest School Training
Thank you to Stuart Meier of FoABW for spending the
afternoon training our Forest School Team in the art of coppicing. We’re looking forward to working in
partnership with FoABW to help coppice our local woods
along with the children.
The next Parent Forum for parents with children with special educational needs or disability is on Tuesday 17 March at The Virtual Learning Centre (buiding near the farm) at Oathall Community College from 9.30 am to 12.0. Come along and hear from
expert speakers and meet the team of professionals here to help. A

PLAYGROUND: We do understand the excitement of a big space, but we need to lock the gates at 3.30 pm to keep children at clubs safe. Please help us by leaving promptly after collection. Head down to the fabulous Rec Ground! DOGS: Thank you for tying your dog up in the plaza area by the office. This has really helped children feel safer. Thank you. Please let us know if you have any concerns.
Well done to Oliver Moulton for coming first in
