What’s not to like about walking? It’s free, simple todo, one of the easiest ways to get more active, loseweight and become healthier. Walking is good for youand offers many benefits…

Physical activity doesn't need to be complicated.Something as simple as a daily brisk walk can helpyou live a healthier life. Regular brisk walking can helpyou to:

▪ maintain a healthy weight▪ prevent or manage various conditions,

including heart disease, high blood pressureand type 2 diabetes

▪ strengthen your bones and muscles▪ improve your mood▪ improve your balance and coordination

A brisk walk is about 3 miles an hour, which is fasterthan a stroll. One way to tell if you're walking brisklyis if you can still talk but can't sing the words to asong. The faster, farther and more frequently youwalk, the greater the benefits!

Make it a habit - The easiest way to walk more is tomake walking a habit. Think of ways to includewalking in your daily routine, such as:
