our feelings and thoughts to others. This leads to other person feels like pity, disrespect,
irritation, frustration, anger on us. This leads to un-completed goals and results.
Aggressive style is Conveying our emotions honestly to others in an inappropriate wayleads to the violating of others rights. By being aggressive provokes the other person to
be hurt, anger, ashamed, abused.
Passive aggression style is conveying our thoughts and feelings to others in a confusingmanner. Interaction will be manipulative, silent and being helpless. This provokes inner
feelings of others such as confusion, mistrust, being used.
How and why passive-aggression is not a part of assertive communication?
Definition:expression of needs in an unclear & confusing manner
Purpose:gets what he/she wants without clearly stating what
Characteristic:Appears to be independent and in control of situation
Attitude:You are not OK, but I will let you think you are
Interaction with others:Manipulative, pouting, silent treatment and being helpless Feelings
provoked in others:Confusion, mistrust, of being used.
Consequences:Gets what one wants, though self-esteem reinforced and unable to establish
close relationship.
As there is much confusion and miss-understanding in this passive aggression most of the results
