The children were asked to choose a stamp in the Doodle Buddy app on the iPad. They were then asked to stamp some and create a word problem. They could choose to add or take away objects to the original group. They were then guided to ask the question, followed by solving the word problem. The problem was saved to the iPad’s camera roll and those pictures were synced to a computer to create a concrete artifact.
