Using the 14 employability skills and the definitions of each skill the aim of this activity is to match up the definitions to the skill cards and discuss whether the academic and student versions say the same thing.
In your groups:
1.Work out which definition belongs to which skill (there are 3 for each skill)
2.Work out which is the academic definition and which are the 2 student definitions
3.Discuss whether the academic and student definitions share a common meaning
4.Report back

Looking back at what you wanted to get from the session - did we fulfil the objective?
We have looked at university student internships and whether we have a student voice in the development of employability.
•ceth internships have given students a voice in employability development
•The ceth internship role is one of being both an ear and megaphone bridging the communication gap between student and institution
•Although they have had problems with some projects most have been a great success
•ceth student interns get a great deal out of it too making them more employable
