AEM Elects Kelliher, Thorne to Fill Unexpired TermsThe Association of Equipment

Manufacturers (AEM) has elected PhilipKelliher, vice president Americas & Europedistribution services division of CaterpillarInc., and David Thorne, senior vice presidentworldwide sales and marketing, constructionand forestry division of Deere & Company,to the AEM CE Sector Board to fill unex-pired terms.AEM is the North American-based inter-

national trade group representing off-roadequipment manufacturers and suppliers,with more than 950 companies and morethan 200 product lines in the agriculture andconstruction-related sectors worldwide.Association officers and directors work

on behalf of all member companies, givingtheir time and talent to provide strategicdirection and guidance for association actionin areas including public policy, market dataand exhibitions, as well as technical, safetyand regulatory issues, and education/train-ing.“AEM benefits from the support of our

He has served in Latin America andwas part of the company’s global miningdivision formation.
