INTRODUCTION
Next Generation Point of Sales (NGPOS) is an Enterprise solution built on top of Adempiere ERP
application. This application is developed to improve the visibility of secondary sales (which
yields 50 to 60% of their total sales) information which is part of our clientsdistribution cycle.
This application tracks the accurate information related to customers master data, sales and
Inventory of each direct agencies which will help the sales manager to get better insight to the
key performance indicator of direct agencies.
This application is installed in 50 direct agencies so far and helps to track the sales information
of those DA
APPLICATION FEATURES:
1. Overall management of sales at each DA.2. Increasing of stocks during receipt of goods for sales3. Overall management of Inventory such as adjustment of inventory, moving of inventories
from one locator to another

All master data such as product, pricelist, and warehouse will be configured in HQ server. The
Data synchronization process will synchronize the configured master data from HQ to DAs
where NGPOS application is installed and up and running. This saves time in configuring master
data in all Das manually.
When goods are received by direct agencies from our client, the sales Admin from direct agency
will verify the received goods and update the stock position in the NGPOS application.
The Sales admin selling the goods to their customers by using the defined price list by our client
defined at HQ.

Also the Sales Admin at DA receives payment from their customers against the sales and updates
the account receivable entries within the system.
End of every day, the sales information will be extracted and moved to HQ to view the Business
Intelligence report for taking business decision on sales against each DA.
NGPOS REPORTS:
NGPOS application provides necessary reports such as Master Inventory Reports, Aging Report,
Master Debit report, Master Credit report, Master Balance Report, Daily Sales reports, Sellout
by Campaign Report and Master Customer List reports helps the Salesman to track the sales
and inventories, receivable amounts at DA side.
BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE REPORTS:
Business Intelligence Reports are developed using Open source Pentaho and installed in HQ
server. When data from different DAS are loaded into HQ every day, The Sales Team from HQ
will see the Business Intelligence reports and view the sales Information and make a business
decision based on the data.

SUMMARY:
To summarize this, NGPOS application built on top of Adempiere helps our clients to track their
secondary sales of all their DAs (50 DAs so far) easily, take complete control over the inventory
across all DAs , making decisions against DA sales based on the sales information received from
DAs. Moreover have an option to expand their business easily by installing the application at
DAs location with required configuration by clients themselves.
