    2. Cutaholethroughtheboxestoputalongpipe/paperroll,toactasatreewhilealsosupportingtheboxes(seeimagebelow).

    Alternatively,youcanuse4individualpaperrollsandplacethedirectlyaboveeachother.

    3. Arrangestudentsintogroupsof2/3(orindividuallyifyouhaveenoughboxes)andassignthemonelayeroftherainforest.Intheirgroups,studentsresearchthislayeroftherainforestanddecidewhichcolourswouldbemostappropriateforthehabitat.

    4. Havestudentsquicklysketchtheirassignedlayerintheirartdiariesanddecideonthecolourstheywillneed.

    5. Studentsthengetthepaintcolourstheythinktheywillneedfortheirparticularlayeroftherainforestandstartpaintingtheirboxes.
