6 Mind-Blowing Work-Life Balance
Tips That Will Make You Love Your
Life Even More Balance is a critical aspect of life. We all need it. There should always be
serious time for work and serious time for fun. Could you imagine a life
where it’s all work? Or a life that’s all fun? (I know that sounds tempting
but a life that’s 100% fun isn’t a meaningful one) There needs to be
balance in life. If you’re struggling to find balance in your life, then the
work-life balance tips you’ll learn in this post should help you out.
Before I start sharing the 6 work-life balance tips, let me paint a
picture for you. Imagine a tightrope walker. If you’ve seen the awesome
movie, The Walk, which came out this year and is a true story, then
picture Philippe Pettit walking a tightrope between the World Trade
Center.

He needs to be aware, 100% focused and his heart and mind needs to
be into it. If not, he will lose balance and fall. His only goal, to move
forward balancing himself while walking thousands of feet in the air
with no safety harnesses…only a balancing pole.
Why am I sharing this? Why not expose the 6 work-life balance tips
already and get along with life? Well, life is just like a tightrope walker
whose main goal is to constantly move forward while balancing
himself/herself. If we don’t have balance in life, we fall and sometimes
we fall hard. Making it extremely difficult to get back up. See the
relation now?
Here are some good work-life balance tips by other bloggers:
“There’s no need to blend work into your life. It’s important to separate
the two. It doesn’t mean that you have to hate your job to want to separate
the two, but you need balance.” – by Jacob Shirar www.OfficeVibe.com

To start, what does it mean to be balanced?
“To me, it means that you have a handle on the the various elements in
your life and don’t feel that your heart or mind are being pulled too hard in
any direction. More often than not, you feel calm, grounded, clear-headed,
and motivated.”
- Jasmin Terrany www.JasminBalance.com
We need to know that balance is something that only we can
accomplish. No one can do this for us. These days, it can be pretty hard
to do so because of work. Well, imagine if you can create a passive
income stream working only a couple of hours daily. That’s possible.
People are doing it as I speak. Click here to learn how you can make

The 6 Work-Life Balance Tips
Tip #1 Look At Your Life Now
The only way to know if you’re living a balanced life now is to look at
yourself in the mirror and assess the type of life you’re having. Are you
working too much? Are you hanging out with your friends too much? If
your answer to yes to any of those two questions, then it means your
life is currently out of balance. You need the Yin and the Yang back in
your life.
You need to assess your current situation and work on the things that
you need more of. Do you need more of a social life? Do you need to
work more? Do you need to relax more? (Click here to read mental
relaxation techniques)
Tip #2 Make A Pledge To Create Balance In Your Life
If things are currently a mess if your life, then work on step 1 so you can
move on to step 2. Make a pledge to create balance in your life. Make it
happen. Write it down if you must. Work on creating the habits that
balance your life out. Set time for work, set time for fun and set time for
you. There’s time for everything. (If you want to change your life
financially, click here to learn more.)
Tip #3 Write Them Down
You know what would help? If you surround yourself with things that
can in a way be a symbol to remind you of that balance. I like to have
frames on my room wall that have certain quotes and I always wear a
bracelet made of Lapiz Lazuli and Onyx which is a symbol to remind me
of mental peace and strength.
Remind yourself that you need and deserve that balance. Sometimes,
we’re so much in the zone that we tend to forget what we should be
doing especially in this age where everything is fast paced.
Tip #4 Set Goals In Every Area In Your Life
If you want true balance, then aim to achieve something in different
areas in your life. Here’s what I mean:
Set goals for your health. Do you want to lose weight?
Set goals for your social life. Do you want to make more friends or
maybe even meet the love of your life?
Set goals for your spiritual life. Do you want to get in touch with the
divine side of life more?
Set goals for your mindset. Do you need to think more positive?
Set goals for your well-being. Are you pursuing your passions?
Set goals for others. Are you giving and helping others?
That’s pretty much what work-life balance tips #4 is all about.
Tip #5 Be Willing To Take The Risk
If you’re not willing to take the risk, then nothing will happen. Your life
will ALWAYS remain the same. All these work-life balance tips would be
useless if you’re not willing to take the risk.
Tip #6 Look Yourself In The Mirror…Daily
The last of the work-life balance tips is to look yourself in the
mirror…daily. This is how you assess yourself and your life. This is the
moment where you can be true to yourself. Are you happy with your
life? If not, then make the changes. Are you not happy with your life?
Make the changes. Are you happy? If yes, then smile at yourself in the
mirror and say “Damn, you’re one fine looking fella. Good thing I took
the risk and put the 6 work-life balance tips into action. ” ;-)
