CHARITY

The Quad Cities’ Optimist Clubs and you, our valued friends and golfers, have raised over $375,000 during the nineteen years this tournament has been in existence. Your generosity has helped

hundreds of area kids. Thank You!

At Youth Hope our primary focus is the underprivileged children and teens of our area, yet we serve the whole community with our outreach programs. We currently operate youth centers in Rock Island and Mo-line, as well as Camp Summit in New Windsor. Each of our facilities offers a safe retreat from drugs, gangs and other negative influences that are prevalent in our society today. Our centers have holistic programs that include tutoring, spiritual guidance, recreation and job training. Camp Summit allows kids and teens to have life-changing experiences outside of the small world in which they live. We

are committed to reflect and teach Christian Values and ethics as we meet the physical, emotional, mental and social needs of low-income youth.

Friendly House Friendly House Youth Services provide a safe, quality, affordable continuum of care and services for children ages 2-12. The main objectives are to give children the opportunity to increase rela-tionships with peers, to solve problems and to enhance skill de-velopment. The children are exposed to diverse recreational and educational experiences at a cost that s affordable to all families. The programming focuses on promoting positive physical, social and educational development through enrichment activities, rec-reation, field trips and tutoring.
