ZETOR TRACTORS ARE EQUIPPED WITH ENGINES THAT ARE MADE IN HOUSE. UNLIKE MANY RIVALS, WE CAN GUARANTEE THE PERFORMANCE, ENDURANCE AND TOTAL COST OF OWNERSHIP OF THE MOST IMPORTANT ITEM – THE ENGINE.

Zetor engines operate reliably in tractors, fork-lift trucks, loaders, construction and road machines, compressors, mobile welding sets, power supply units and pumping sets. ZETOR TRACTORS a.s. al-ways supplies engines with equipment according to the customer’s specific requirements. The ex-ceptional popularity of Zetor engines is based on low fuel consumption, high reliability and simple

design - these reward the customer not only with low acquisition costs, but also low operating costs and great reliability. Engines with the new 16-valve technology have obtained one of the best evalua-tions in a stringent test carried out by the German Agricultural Association (DLG). Tractors equipped with these engines therefore rank among the most economical tractors on the market.

ZETOR TRACTORS a.s., IS THE LARGEST DIESEL ENGINE MANUFACTURER IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC. THE TRADITION OF MANUFACTURING DATES BACK TO THE 1920s. AUTOMOBILE PETROL ENGINES WERE MADE HERE FROM 1924, FOLLOWED LATER ALSO BY AIRCRAFT PISTON ENGINES, MOTORCYCLE ENGINES, LARGE STATIONARY ENGINES AND OTHER PRODUCTS FOR THE SECTOR. THE MOST SUCCESSFUL ONES WERE TRACTOR DIESEL ENGINES, WHICH HAVE BEEN DISTRIBUTED CONTINUOUSLY UNDER THE ZETOR BRAND TO MANY COUNTRIES THROUGHOUT THE WORLD SINCE 1946.

The core concept of Zetor engines is always to en-sure maximum unification of parts within a par-ticular range. This reduces the range of essential spare parts. Engine operation is supported by an extensive service network in numerous countries all around the world.With every engine we make, considerable em-phasis is placed first and foremost on quality. All engines are tested on a test bench, and before being dispatched they must meet all prescribed production parameters. Each engine is furnished with a QUALITY CERTIFICATE.ZETOR TRACTORS a.s. makes every effort to meet the needs of its customers. It is ready to manufacture engines according to the individual

requirements of each customer, to modify engines for the most suitable operating mode and, if re-quired, to help put into practice any plans to use Zetor engines in the products of our customers.Zetor engines Z7205, Z1105, Z1205, Z1005, Z1305, Z1405 made in the power range from 48 kW to 86 kW are also based on a unified range. They meet the smoke limits ECE 24R 03 and the EU 77 / 537 / EC emission standard, the 2000 / 25 / EC Stage IIIA ac-cording to the directives of the EU, and the EPA nonroad Tier 3 applicable in the USA. To comply with the Stage IIIB emission limits, we offer the uni-fied engines Zetor Z1006, Z1306, Z1406, Z1506 and Z1606 in the power range from 71 to 100 kW.

Zetor engines are diesel engines – turbo-charged, four-stroke, in-line, vertical engines meeting the strictest environmental require-ments. The engines are water cooled with di-rect fuel injection. Engines currently being made for tractors are turbocharged engines with air-to-air intercooling. The cylinder heads are two-valve; all engines meeting Stage IIIB emission standard are equipped with a four-valve head. The forced feed lubrication of the

engine is provided either by a gear pump or a Gerotor-type pump. The valve motion is driven by helical gearing wheels, providing the precise drive of the injection pump and camshaft, and is adapted to drive hydraulic pumps. The engines are equipped with balancers and low-tempera-ture start devices. They are made in the follow-ing range of power:

STAGE IIIB. Z1006 – 71 kW / 16 valves. Z1306 – 79 kW / 16 valves. Z1406 – 86 kW / 16 valves. Z1506 – 93 kW / 16 valves. Z1606 – 100 kW / 16 valves
