The workshop will be held at Mazsons hotel in Zanzibar, located at Kenyatta Street on Monday, September 19, 2011. Doors are open at 8:00 AM, and the workshop starts at 9 AM. The objective of this workshop will provide a focus for top-down information on the benefits and challenges faced by most Zanzibar Horticultural Famers. There will be presentation about the ZEST project and Uwamwima. After the presentation, we will talk about the three key areas below; 1. Increasing productivity 2. Improving market linkage 3. Better communication and synergy among stakeholders and partner networks We hope that you will be able to participate in this workshop. It is optional; however, we encourage participants to prepare 5 to 10 minutes presentation about their organization and what they do. It is very important that we know the number people participating, and will appreciate it very much if you could please call or email us to confirm your participation, by Wednesday, September 14, 2011.
