HOW SOLAR WORKS

Suntech solar panels contain photovoltaic cells which convert the suns light into DC electricity. The panels

are connected to the inverter with cables, which converts this electricity into AC power which is the

same power your house uses. SMA inverters have a display which shows you how much power you have

produced. They quite often have the ability to connect to your computer with bluetooth.

When your solar grid system is installed you have a bidirectional meter installed just after the panels

and inverter are installed. This calculates how much power you house needs and if the solar system is

producing more power than this, it feeds the power back into the grid. Solar owners in Tasmania

Solar power is still generated on cloudy or overcast days, however at a reduced output. At night,

The Process

Conceptual design and sizing. Sight premises using satellite imagery. Initial price indication. Once concept is

Installation is carried out by a combination of expert contractors and Jessups technnicians. We guarantee to hire only

be attended to. Inverters can also be manually monitored with the easy read built in display for confidence and

Quality Assurance Suntech Solar Modules Internationally accredited module

performance modelling showed that

Suntech Panels performed better than

their 25 year warranty states by only

dropping to 80% performance in years 28 and 32. Higher end tier 3 brands all failed

during the pre-test stage. This left the other tier 2 and tier 1 panels that failed the main

line test from years 7 onwards. It is obvious from this that investment in Suntech

Suntech modules have received the VDE Quality-Tested certification,

attesting that the quality of Suntech modules exceed existing industry

standards.

VDE Quality-Tested seal relies on a more rigorous examination of performance

capabilities. The number of test samples is doubled, and testing periods increased.
