September 2017 (2 or 3 terms, progressing to university in September 2018), plus extra dates for extended courses.
Entry requirements: at least 11 years of education and UKVI IELTS 5.0 overall, with no less than 4.0 in any skill.
IELTS below 5.0? If you have a lower IELTS score, you may still apply as long as you have at least 4.0 in all skills.
We can offer you an extended course with extra English language and academic skills preparation.

Course modulesThe Foundation Certificate
consists of a set of core modules
taken by all students:
• Skills for Study: develop your
general academic skills.
• Language for Study 3: develop
your English and learn to
express complex arguments.
• Economics in an International
Context: learn the theories of
markets and trade.
• Statistics: understand statistical
theories and processes.
Students on the Business pathway
also take the following modules:
• Business Management: learn

Students on the Law or Social
Sciences pathway also take two
of the following pathway modules:
• Introduction to Legal Principles
