LOVE AND PRAYERS Dick Sheehan went to be with the Lord last weekend. Dick and his wife, Claire, have been members of SMIC since 1975. Please remember Claire and the rest of the Sheehan family in your prayers. Cards may be sent to the family at 834 Castlemaine Ct., Birmingham 35226.
PRIMETIMERS Primetimers will meet for their Thanksgiving gathering on Friday, November 14 at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel. The program is titled “Psalm 100 in Word and Song”. Music will be provided by Angie Batts, Jana Hartley McWil-liams and Jim Sims. The message from God’s Word will be delivered by Ben Tel-fair, SMIC’s High School and College Minister. Come early for fellowship at 10:00 a.m. Please make your reservations for a delicious meal (including takeouts) for $4.50 by calling the Welcome Center at 978-6000.
BABY DEDICATION SMIC’s next Baby Dedication will be held Sunday, November 23, 2014 during the morning service. If you would like to participate, please contact Gina Cody in the Pastor’s Office at 978-6002 or [email protected]. Sign-up deadline is TODAY.
ANGEL TREE SMIC’s Angel Tree will be in the church lobby beginning next Sunday, November 16! The angels will represent children from Birmingham, from right here in Bluff Park, as well as single parents in our SMIC family (formerly called “20/20”). Please be praying about how you and your family will participate.
HIGH SCHOOL & MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS Save the date for Winter Retreat! Both High School and Middle School students will be traveling to Destin on Janu-ary 16 - 19.
