The ZXV10 T700S is a rack-mounted HD video conference terminal of T7 series developedby ZTE Corporation. The terminal and camera PTZ are separately designed. The terminalcan be placed on a flat surface or installed in the 19-inch rack. It is suitable for small andmedium size business conferences.
Figure 1-1 shows the definition of a terminal model.

Terminal
It is the core part of the ZXV10 T700S. The
functions are as follows:
l It sends the local image, voice, and data to
the transmission network after encoding.
l It outputs the received remote image,
voice, and data after decoding to the local
video/audio device.
Camera
The basic video input device. Users can configure
this device as required. The HD camera is
recommended.
Infrared
remote control
It is the main operation and control device.
You can control the video conference in a short
distance through the infrared remote control.
For detailed operations, refer to Remote Control
User Guide.
Microphone
Digital Microphone A100 is the basic audio input
device.
For better access to the conference room, it
is recommended to use two cascaded A100
microphones. In addition, you can also use an
analog microphone.

Conference calll Calls a terminal to initiate an audio or video conference: You can input the H.323
number, SIP number, or IP address of the peer device to initiate a conference. Youcan also initiate a conference through the address book or latest call records.
l Calls the MCU server to create a multi-point conference: You can input the specialservice number (196 or 198) or IP address of the MCU to create a multi-pointconference.
l Calls the MCU server to participate in a multi-point conference: You can input thespecial service number (196 or 198), conference number, or IP address of the MCUto participate in a multi-point conference.
l Accepts a call and participate in a conference.l Supports automatic calls when the ZXV10 T700S is powered on.l Supports the customized calling and answering mode: manual mode, automatic
mode, or automatic refusal mode.l Sets the ring tone and volume, including dialing tone, ringing tone, and key tone.l The ZXV10 T700S can be interconnected to the clients of Microsoft Lync 2010 and
Microsoft Lync 2013.l The ZXV10 T700S can be interconnected to VT100 series video conference software
terminals developed by ZTE.
Conference control
l Supports the complicated chairman control functions, including broadcasting sites,browsing sites, calling the roll, adding terminals during a conference, disconnectingterminals, deleting terminals, forcedly refusing terminals, controlling the microphonesand stereo equipment of each site, and extending conference duration.
l Supports the bulk sending or point-to-point transmission of short messages to releaseconference information in a timely manner.
l Supports the flexible caption setting and display, so that the conference notification isdisplayed clearly.
l Supports the banner display of conference sites, so that the conference topic is clearand distinct.
l Controls the external devices of conference sites, including cameras, microphones,and stereo equipment.
User interfacel Supports various control modes, including remote control mode, web page control
mode, PC client control mode (PC console), Pad client control mode, and Androidclient control mode.

l Supports pointing the remote control at the camera and pressing the correspondingkeys to operate and control conference terminals.
l Supports various customized language interfaces.l The operation menu interface is separated from video images and displayed
independently. The display of video images can be switched between multiple outputinterfaces.
l Supports video pictures in various layouts, including local full-screen, remotefull-screen, secondary video full-screen, picture in picture, and picture by picture.
l Supports the customized settings of the display content and display mode of thescreen, including the terminal status icon, terminal name, system alert box, logo,volume indication icon, and transparency and skin of the menu interface.
l Supports the time synchronization function of Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP).l The display of video images can be switched between multiple output interfaces,
including the DVI1, DVI2, and CVBS interfaces. The DVI interface supports theDVI/HDMI/Component/VGA working mode.
l Interconnects to the video conference EMS to realize the unified management andmaintenance of the ZXV10 T700S through the EMS.
Standard dual streams
l Supports H.323 dual-stream ITU-T H.239 and SIP dual-stream BFCP.l Sends two-channel independent 720P HD video signals to remote terminals.l The secondary video can be the content of the computer desktop or active images
(for example, pictures captured by the camera).l The secondary video and primary video can be displayed on the same display device
or independently displayed on different devices.l Provides various video input source interfaces, including the DVI1, DVI2,
VGA/Component, HDMI, and CVBS interfaces. The DVI interface supports theDVI/HDMI/Component/VGA working mode.
l Supports the customized secondary video bandwidth allocation.
Network adaptability

The ZXV10 T700S terminal can participate in a point-to-point conference when connectedto the IP network. The ZXV10 T700S terminal can participate in conferences of varioustypes when used in different networks.
The networking modes in typical scenarios are described as follows:

l In area B, the ZXV10 T700S and MCU are connected to the same private network.This networking mode is applicable to the conferences held between the internaldepartments of a company located in a private network.
l In area A, the MCU can be configured with two different network segments: one isthe public network and the other one is a private network. The rear panel of the ZXV10 T700S is equipped with the hardware interfaces, including theaudio interfaces, video interfaces, network interfaces, power interface, andUSB interfaces,as shown in Figure 5-1.
