    Programs Bachelor Of Accounting

    Today's accountant is a sophisticated strategic advisor to businesses and organizations and must possess a solid

    understanding of business functions and processes, a strong knowledge of business and related disciplines, as well

    as the technical, personal and societal skills and competencies necessary for sound decision-making. There are

    many career choices for accounting professionals and include public accounting, auditing and assurance services,

    financial planning, business and management consulting, finance and treasury, among others.

    The Bachelor of Accounting at the Sampoerna School of Business offers students the opportunity to acquire and

    develop the knowledge and skills necessary to function effectively in today's business environment and to satisfy the

    educational requirements of professional accounting bodies.

    On successful completion of the Bachelor of Accounting, graduates will be able to:

    Demonstrate competencies, professional skills and knowledge in relation to contemporary accounting issues andpractices;

    Identify and demonstrate professional skills and knowledge in economics, management, finance, and businessinformation systems;

    Critically analyze and think strategically in relation to accounting and business issues and problems;

    Apply appropriate professional and analytical skills to address specific accounting and business issues foreffective decision making;

    Identify and critically evaluate professional accounting and business issues emerging from developments inpractice and accounting regulations; and

    Analyze the impact of aspects of the law on accounting practice including the ethical, legal and professional

    environments.

    Bachelor of Management with a Specialization in ManagementBachelor of Management with a Specialization in Marketing

    The Bachelor of Management equips graduates with the knowledge and technical, personal and societal skills and

    competencies necessary to participate effectively in today's business world and to make sound business and

    management decisions. The degree provides foundation training across a number of business disciplines and

    specialist training in management, finance or marketing.

    The Bachelor of Management at the Sampoerna School of Business enables graduates to work closely with

    managers in other functional areas and pursue career choices in general management, finance, banking, financial

    management, or marketing management.

    On successful completion of the Bachelor of Management, graduates will be able to:
