We have a complete range of string and piano programs for everyone from young beginners to adults. There is a Sibling Class (for siblings aged 4 and 5); a Mini Institute (morning program for Book 1 students only) for violin, viola, cello or piano; Junior, Intermediate & Senior programs for violin, viola, cello, bass and piano; Young Artist Program for violin, viola, cello and piano; chamber ensembles; orchestras; PLUS Operetta and a wide variety of engaging optional courses. We can’t wait to see you again in person! Young Artist Program (YAP) The Young Artist Program classes are open to senior students of violin, viola, cello and piano, and provide instruction in a setting that moves towards traditional music college/university teaching while maintaining roots in Suzuki philosophy and pedagogy. Video auditions are due May 1st. Violin YAP Jerzy Kaplanek (ON) Students Eligible: Violinists who have completed Suzuki Bk. 8 or who are working at a Grade 9 RCM level or above. Program includes: 4 Daily public Master Class (half-hour per student) with Jerzy Kaplanek. 4 Piano accompanist (if required) for daily Master Class and solo performance. 4 Daily Repertoire class. 4 Daily Advanced Orchestra. 4 Solo performance at the end of the week. Viola YAP Christine Vlajk (ON) Students Eligible: Violists who have completed Suzuki Bk. 8 or who are working at a Grade 9 RCM level or above. Program includes: 4 Daily public Master Class (half-hour per student) with Anya Alexeyev. 4 Daily Chamber Music class. 4 Daily Advanced Percussion class. 4 Solo and ensemble performances at the end of the week. Come to Canada’s largest Suzuki Institute, back again at Laurier! We have a complete range of string and piano programs for everyone from young beginners to adults. Saturday Aug. 6 to Sunday Aug. 7 Every Child Can! IN PErSON trainer tba ONLINE trainer tba One-day course designed to be an inspiring introduction to the Suzuki method for both teachers and parents.

The course covers a wide range of topics, and has video presentations, including archival footage of Dr. Suzuki teaching. Suitable for teachers, parents and administrators.

& Teaching Strategies for Cello ONLINE Teaching Strategies is two courses in one—a regular 15-hour Cello Unit 2 course covering Book 2 pedagogy, combined with Teaching Strategies, a 10-hour class that includes hands-on practicum-like activities and guided practice-teaching in a “pedagogy master class” setting.

Participants who complete the integrated course will come away with valuable information, both about Book 2 and about their own teaching.
