conclusions. While “The Bass, The River, and Sheila Mant” warns against changing in order to please others, “Catch the Moon” seems to reveal the benefit of changing for others.

He is able to see himself in a new light when she shows him the picture of him atop the mound of hubcaps holding the one she needs. Once he finds the hubcap he sees as “Cinderella’s shoe” and takes it to her he recognizes this is “the first good thing he’d given anyone in a long time.” and is happy about the change that has taken place because of Naomi.
