Some years ago, I participated in a wonderful, life-changing program on Yoga for Children run by Marsha Metzger at her Color Me Yoga School in Wenham, MA. I hoped to use yoga techniques to help my public school students stay both peaceful and focused. Alicia’s training and skill in working with kids really shows, and her enthusiasm is contagious. Leah says she loves “everything” about doing yoga with Alicia, but specifically, she feels a physical accomplishment as she notes improvement in her abilities, and that she has learned techniques to cope with stress. Leah said that nothing makes her feel so relaxed. “ -Jennifer Barz-Snell, Salem MA

“Dan and Jacob often came to yoga tired after a busy day, but left class smiling and feeling refreshed. They really enjoyed the class with Alicia.” --Tricia Pini, Salem, MA

“Bella is new to the world of yoga and enjoys it immensely. Bella is very excited to show her family and the children at school what she’s learned at class over the weekend. Bella is very taken with her instructor, Alicia, and talks about her often. Alicia is a very enlightened and super creative instructor. We highly recommend her and her wonderful studio, Green Tea Yoga, to everyone! Tell your friends!!! --Michelle De Meo, Chelmsford MA

Our Programs

Green Beans (Ages 2.9-Kindergarten)Green Beans are our little yogis, who dance, sing, balance and boogie their way to a strong practice. In these classes we use games, danc-ing, storytelling and imagination to guide and inspire our youngest practitioners.

Green Sprouts (K-Grade 3)Our Sprouts are ready to reach for new heights in yoga. We open with breathing, stretching and twisting, and move on to strength, balance, and concentration games. Enter the forest and dive under the sea with your yoga practice to support you.

Tea Leaves (Grades 4-6)Turn over a new leaf in our intermediate chil-dren’s class. We use a trip around the world and into space to inspire this strong group. We also explore our relationships to friends, family and the world to make new discoveries about ourselves in class.
