ENGLISH TRANSLATION:

We gave them some fish

2. We came from home that way, and threw out fishing lines to catch fish.

4. We went on and fished with a throw net.

6. We fished with our brother.

8. We went on getting fish. We got lots and lots of fish.

10. Nja-wámud and Na-bangárda turned up and we gave them fish, five fish it was.

12. We kept on fishing.

14. We didn’t give any more away, we took it home and gave it to them.

16. We gave them some and they cooked it.

18. Then Na-bangárda’s mob turned up and we gave some to them too.
