Intuitive

AvoidActive safety features in i30 help you avoid trouble and stay in control. The combination of Anti-skid Braking System(ABS) and Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) help you avoid wheel lock and maintain control in emergencybraking situations. EBD works with ABS to deliver the maximum braking effect to the wheels that need it, regardlessof how the vehicle is loaded.

Bosch Electronic Stability Program (ESP) with Traction Control System (TCS)* helps automatically compensate

for over / under-steer to stabilise the vehicle and helps prevent skidding. In the event of wheel spin caused byover-acceleration, particularly on slippery surfaces, TCS momentarily applies the brakes on the spinning wheel untilit regains traction with the road.

The driver and front passenger are also alerted by a seat belt reminder system.

HALO isprogrammed to automatically lock all the doors when the vehicle reaches 40 km / h. This prevents unwanted intrusionwhen the vehicle is stationary. The driver and front passenger can still exit as normal and all doors can be unlockedwith a press of a button. In the event of a collision, the central locking will automatically unlock all the doors.
