Rugby world cup themed Year 5 Sports Day –

Year 5 were invited to take part in a rugby world cup themed sports day at Perry Beeches The Academy on Tuesday 7th July. Class 5C were given Wales as the nation that they would be representing and England was the nation given to class 5M. The children all had to take part in three sessions of activities, earning points for their team/nation.

The activities were football, dodgeball, athletics, Design and technology, Performing Arts, and Humanities.

There were other schools their, competing against us, all of whom had also been given a country to represent.

After all three sessions were completed, the points were tallied and ….

Great Barr had one class finishing in the ‘medals positions’……..

Class 5C (Wales) finished 3rd at the sports day event.
