Spelling and Vocabulary

Check your homework book to see which group you are in. Remember to look first, cover and then try to spell each word when practicing. These will be tested every week, on Sunday and I expect all children to get 8/10 or more.

Please write a sentence in your homework books using the spellings above. Can you make any sensible sentences using more than 1 spelling?

Reminders

Please remember to bring a water bottle and hat to school everyday. Wear your PE kit to school every Wednes-day and Thursday for Games and PE.

This week we will read-ing about the Moon and carrying out a reading comprehension based upon this. Remember, all answers must be completed with full sentences. Yes, no, because, he, she, etc. are not acceptable as sentence openers!

Notice to Parents Our Oxford Reading Tree (ORT) books have been given to pupils. Please make sure they are brought into school every day. If the book is not in school, then your child may miss the opportunity to read with an adult. Books will be changed a maximum of twice per week. To ensure a book is changed, there must be a signature from an adult at home to state how much was read and if the book was completed.

Reading Keep reading everyday for 15 minutes. Children can change their library books every day before and after school. They can also change their books at break time.
