• Pythagoras died around the age 75.

• It was said that he was the first man to callhimself a philosopher.

• He was born on the island of Samos.

• He was a founder of the religiousmovement called pythagoreanism.

• He found an amazing fact about triangles.It is called ‘’pythagoras theorem’’ and canbe written in one short equation:a²+b²=c²
