Thank you for your interest in attending our 36th year of Y.E.S. Camp! This year’s theme is titled “Stars”! Y.E.S. Camp is non-profit 501(c)3 summer Christian Camp in Somerset, Pennsylvania offering kids, youths, and teens, an opportunity to create lasting friendships, confidence and empowerment through our savior Jesus Christ. Y.E.S. Camp is a week-long camp where kids participate in different camp activities through our recreation programs, participate in bible breakdowns, worship together at our evening chapel services and at the end of the week, perform in a Talent Show at their wish in front of the entire camp! Any camper who will be age 7-17 at the time of camp may apply. We are excited to see any of our returning campers and to welcome any new campers! Returning campers ages 15-17 who have attended two or more years of Y.E.S. Camp or our home church’s Youth Group may apply to be Assistant Cabin Directors or campers. APPLICATION PROCESS Please read the following carefully. Y.E.S. Camp enrollment is first come, first serve. If you prefer to apply online, you can find a link to our online application at www.yes-camp.com To apply by mail, please send us: the program application (including financial aid request form if applicable), your camper’s registration fee if able (early payment is encouraged to reserve spot at camp, payment plans are available, contact us for details). We will notify each applicant regarding enrollment status as soon as possible, typically within three weeks of receiving your completed application. Once your camper is enrolled, we will send you a confirmation email. IMPORTANT: If you don’t hear from us within three weeks of submitting your application, it may be incomplete; please contact us to find out what is missing! TUITION AND FINANCIAL AID IMPORTANT: This year, in an attempt to streamline our cost we are lumping all three of the costs you would typically pay per camper into one standard flat rate. WE ARE NOT INCREASING OUR COST. In the past Y.E.S. Camp cost $125; this included a $10 non-refundable t-shirt fee (due with application) and the $115 tuition fee (due no later than first day of camp). This did not include the camper’s snack bar which, based on previous years, campers spend an average of $30 over the week. We have changed this to a flat rate tuition of $150 per camper. Which covers the tuition fee, t-shirt, and a $30 credit to the campers snack bar. Camper’s snack bar is still refunded at the end of camp. Limited financial aid is available. We try very hard to make Camp accessible to everyone and not turn a camper away due to financial need. Please ask for what you need and pay what you can. Financial Aid requests may take longer than three weeks to process. Full FA is limited to the cost of registration, it does not include snack bar for your camper. The snack bar is not refundable if you receive FA. We work all year long to keep our costs low, to offer more programming and provide financial aid through grants, fundraising, benefits, etc. As a nonprofit, any amount paid over the standard fees is considered a tax-deductible donation and greatly appreciated. BOUNCED CHECKS A $25 fee will be charged should we receive a returned check. In this event, the total balance of the returned check, plus the fee, will be due immediately.
