Produce a fully integrated campaign to launch and promote Fedrigoni’s ‘Imaginative Colours’ paper selection tool in the UK.

SolutionThe idea is simple; an event, or promotional launch. The event would be a collaboration of creatives working to construct a mosaic peice of art using the Fedrigoni papers featured in the ‘Imaginative Colours’ range. This event would take place in the Fedrigoni showroom, with a buffet lunch and refreshments provided during the afternoon.

To advertise the event, a series of Fedrigoni coloured paper ‘pull-outs’ would be placed inside popular design magazines, such as ‘Creative Review’, ‘Eye’, and more. These pull-outs would feature shapes to be cut out, which would later become pieces of the mosaic. Participants would bring these along to the event, the details of which would also be on the pull-outs.

The completed piece of mosaic art would be uploaded to the Fedrigoni website, where rolling the mouse over a single piece will identify the name of the colour and paper used. The final piece may also be featured in the magazines that held the pull outs.

The mosaic theme in this campaign demonstrates how paper can be used practically to fuel a creative piece of work. It emphasises the importance of paper as a tangible media, and in our efforts to distance ourselves from the sometimes creativity crushing effects of the digital and impersonal world, the event being a collaborative, fun one is significant too.
