Not having basic literacy resources, like books, is a significant barrier for children in these communities. For the next few weeks in OSHC, we will be raising funds through a Gold Coin ‘Lucky Dip’ and a Gold Coin ‘Guessing Jar’ Competition to provide Literacy Packs to Indigenous children in remote communities. Our not for profit organisation, the Camp Australia Foundation will match every dollar raised. Please help us to support disadvantaged Indigenous children. This Week in OSHC : MUSIC PERFORMERS This week we used cardboard tubes and recycled materials to make different types of ‘musical instruments’ which some of the children used to accompany their dancing! We also brainstormed some activities for a ‘SPACE’ theme for next week.
