Always ride at a slow spe ed whe n the ATV isin differential gear lock, and allow extra timeand distance for m aneuvers.NOTE: Wh en the switch is set toLOCK,the differentialgear lock indicator and indicator light will flashuntil the differential gear is lock ed . Wh en the indicator and indicator light are flashing, turning the handlebar back and forth willhelp the differential gear lock to e nga ge. Riding before the differential gear lock is properly engaged(e.g.,when the indicator an d indica

tor light are flashing) w ill cause the en gine speedto be limited until engagement is com plete. Wh en the ATV is in four-whee l-drive d ifferentialgear lock, the maxim um traveling spee d is limited to 35 km/h (22 mi/h). However, if conditionsrequire full engine power to be available, pushand hold the override sw itch to disable the differential gear lock speed limiter. (See p age 4-8 fora detailed explanation of this switch.)
