Bringing diversity and inclusiveness into every aspect of work and culture is one of our firm’s core values. Diversity benefits our

firm directly by enabling us to attract world-class legal talent and enriching the quality and

fabric of our firm. For our clients, diversity enables us to provide superior and innovative

solutions to their most sophisticated legal challenges.

With a commitment that starts at the top and is shared by all of us, we continue to make sig-

nificant strides in diversity. In 2015, we were recognized for the robust role women lawyers

play in our partnership and firm leadership with a second Gold Standard Certification from

the Women in Law Empowerment Forum. For the

ninth year in a row, Bryan Cave achieved a perfect

score on the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate

Equality Index, reflecting our welcoming and open

environment and best-practice policies for LGBT

lawyers. We also are extremely proud to have played

a key role in the fight for marriage equality, culmi-

nating in the Supreme Court’s historic decision.

We are very proud of the successes we have been able to achieve in diversity, but remain unyielding in our efforts

to improve upon them. Our culture is a powerful binding force and driver of innovation within the firm. Diversity and

inclusiveness are key elements of that culture.

– Therese D. Pritchard, Chair

state constitutional amendments that discriminate against same-sex couples in connection with the right to marry. The

marriage restrictions on the estimated 210,000 children being raised by same-sex parents in this country. Bryan Cave

filed two Voices of Children briefs with the U.S. Supreme Court, both of which were seen as key factors in the decisions of

the court that were victories for LGBT rights.

Bryan Cave was recognized for its pro bono work on Georgia marriage equality at an HRC Atlanta Gala. Attending were summer Associate Pierce Hand (second from left) and Associate Rebekah McCorvey (third from left) and their guests.
