Designed and delivered by the Office or Organization Effectiveness, our program isgrounded on social and behavioral science in order to provide you with insight,knowledge, and improved performance. Our program focuses on people leadership andis designed to impact you and those you lead.
Throughout your Leadership Essentials Intensive journey, you will benefit from an onlinecommunity, leadership dashboard, one-on-one coaching, skill-based practice workshops,self-assessments, and a capstone simulation. Additionally, your frequent interactionswith a carefully selected group of 12 individuals further contributes to your success whilegrowing your career network.

Nominated participants will amplify their awareness andapplication of the theory, tools, behaviors, andresources necessary to effectively impact the people,performance and productivity within their work teams.
PROGRAM BENEFITSAwareness: Learners will develop and increase self-awareness of their strengths and opportunities inleading others.
Application: Learners will practice leadership skillsthat teach them how to use their personal talents foroverall advantage of their groups.
Amplification: Learners will be able to identify andimplement the most appropriate leadership practiceactions for their organization and the work they do.
PARTICIPANT PROFILESupervising at least one direct report or leading aproject. Active in current position for minimum of 6 months.Most recent Performance Review rating of "meets allexpectations" or better. Not on a Performance Improvement PlanSupervisor EndorsementCommitment to attend all scheduled sessions.Completion of the Fundamentals Level

The Intensive Level of Leadership Essentialsbuilds upon the topics covered in theFundamentals Level offering a more in-depthand dynamic view of the theory.
Additionally, access to a leadership dashboardprovides learners with self-assessments andpersonalized action plans that allow learners toimplement what they see in class to theirworkplace.
