TUTOR & PUPIL on the LATIN AMERICA STAGE

Forum Venoso Latino Americano, Colegio Argentino de Cirugía Venosa yLinfática & venous-lymphatic World International Network foundation haveorganized an international free abstracts session during the 2020 InternationalInteruniversity meeting in Phlebology, Lymphology & Aesthetics (BuenosAires, September 23-25).The session is dedicated to scientific works presented by under 40 yo healthprofessionals/residents/med students, tutored by a mentor.In case a young investigator doesn’t have a tutor, the Scientific Committee willbe delighted to provide a world renowned expert in the field tutoring the sameyoung presenter. In the same way, in case an Expert has a project/work and he/she would like to have an under 40 yo enjoying the educational chance of presenting it on his/her behalf, the Scientific Committee will be delighted to put in contact a deserving under 40 yo.All the accepted submitters, both tutors & pupils will enjoy free registration tothe 2021 v-WINter meeting (DUBAI). The best presenter will win a 800 USDflight stipend to attend the meeting and present his/her work there.

RULES & REGULATIONDEADLINE: June 20, 2020 (accepted abstracts will be announced on July 20)• Pertinent references must be reported both in the abstract.• Word count: 300 words in BACKGROUND, METHODS, RESULTS, DISCUSSION

format.• Tables & figures equal to 25 words each.• Figure legends are included in the word count.• Abstracts already presented and/or published elsewhere are accepted.• Abstracts submitted not following the above reported rules will not be

reviewed.• All submitted abstracts will be peer reviewed blindly by a blind Scientific

Committee.

EVALUATION GRID:The scientific committee will fill in the below reported grid, deliveringdetailed scores to all the abstract submitters. In this way, submitters areinformed, in advance, regarding the evaluation system and transparency ispromoted. An additional score will be given after the speech, based on theskills shown by the speakers during the talk and the related discussion.

*Abstracts graded lower than 6 for study design & statistical analysis won’t be accepted

Abstracts will not be accepted via email, fax or post.Please include:• Title, Authors, Affiliations• Names & CV of the pupil and of the tutor• Structured abstract with referencesThe scientific committee will receive the abstracts without authors andaffiliation information.
