WELCOME MESSAGE

On behalf of the Macau Insurers Association and the Organizing Committee, I would like to warmly welcome

you to the 28th East Asian Insurance Congress to be held from 11 to 15 October 2016 at the Venetian Macau.

The theme of the 28th EAIC is “The Future of Insurance – Customer Centricity”. The healthy development

of the industry depends largely on whether we are able to anticipate what customer needs will be. We will have a

full programme to help us gain a better insight into who our customers are, how we can serve them better, what role

technology plays, what impact the ageing population may have, and what the ultimate operating model is in an

ever-changing market place. We may expect to be inspired by a host of world-class practitioners and speakers.

Every two years the EAIC offers excellent opportunities for delegates to meet up with one another to share

their views on how we may make our industry better to better satisfy the needs of our customers. Macau in 2016

offers the perfect place for this meeting of great minds and exchange of great ideas.

Besides being a convention destination, Macau is recognized as a world tourism and leisure centre. Outside

of the meeting rooms, Macau has a lot more to offer. There are already many world-class attractions to welcome

Selection Rule

Exhibit space and meeting room will be assigned according to the following sequence:

Terms and Conditions

1. All items are subject to the Organizing Committee’s approval.

2. EAIC 2016 reserves the right to cancel congress due to acts of nature or unforeseen circumstances that would hinder our ability to run a conference. If cancellation is made by EAIC 2016, 100% refund of the sponsorship amount paid will be given.

3. Organizer should be notified in writing of any cancellations. Unless the space or the sponsorship package can be resold, the organizing committee reserves the right to retain monies received.

4. Sponsors / exhibitors may indicate their preferences of booth location to the Secretariat of EAIC 2016. However, the organizing committee shall have the exclusive right to allocate space in any manner they deem fit and proper. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to alter or change the space assigned to Sponsors / Exhibitors at any time prior to the construction of the Exhibition booths; and to undertake other structural alterations as they deem fit and proper. Such changes shall be at the discretion of EAIC 2016 and the Exhibitor shall have no claim for compensation as a result of such changes.
