Vietnam Aircraft Engines:• Vietnam Airlines procuring 4 engines in 2001. • $60 million contract. Both Pratt & Whitney & GE bid.• Strong competition from Rolls Royce.• USTDA offered $300,000 training grant for safety, maintenance
and repair procedures if US engines selected. • Vietnam Airlines selected GE.

• Likelihood of success receiving implementation financing
