14. GUNUNG HALIMUN SALAK NATIONAL PARK

Covers area of 21.975 hectares, located in Cianjur and Sukabumi, West Java Province. The area is designated as a forerunner to the first nature reserve in Indonesia, an area that has the most species of birds on the island of Java.

Accessibility:a. Cibodas Entrance (Main Gate): Jakarta - Bogor - Puncak

Cibodas: 2.5 hours / 100 km, or Bandung - Cianjur - Cipanas - Cibodas: 2 hours / 85 km.

b. The entrance to Gunung Putri: Adjacent to Cibodas (10 km) through the Cipanas Pacet.

c. Entrance Salabintana and Situgunung: Jakarta - Bogor - Sukabumi - Salabintana / Situgunung: 3.5 hours / 110 km, or Bandung - Cianjur - Sukabumi - Salabintana / Situgunung 3 hours / 90 km.

Covers area of 43.420 hectares that is located in Banyuwangi, East Java Province. Is a representative of ecosystem types lowland rain forest in Java, such as bamboo forests, coastal forests, mangrove forests, plantations and pastures.
