News from our Missionary
April 7 "The Darkness Has Not Over-come It" Speaker: Rev. Dr. Michael Zei-gler God works through the dark-ness to overcome the darkness. Even in history's darkest mo-ment, the light is still shining. (John 12:37-50)

Women of Hope

Thank you to all who cleaned out their pockets and purses to
donate to the Sunday School Lutheran World Relief Animal Fund.
The children sorted the coins and counted the money (kind of).
There was $106 collected. In the coming weeks they will decide
which animals to purchase for a family in need of sustaining re-
sources. This was another way to help our young people that we
can spread Jesus’s love through our concern for them.
WOMEN OF HOPE will meet Sunday,
April 14 at 3:00 p.m. to pack small and
family size hygiene kits to be distributed
at Redeemer Crisis Center. These kits
contain bars of soap, toothpaste, tooth
brushes, deodorant, lotion, and for wom-
en feminine products. Only willing hands
are needed . . . all products will be sup-
plied. Also plans for a May field trip will be discussed. Questions? See

Board of Education is scheduled to meet Monday, April 8, 7:30
p.m. at the church to organize plans for VBS – July 28, 29, 30, and
Aug. 1.
Thank you to Sheila K. for organizing the
Lenten dinners. This has been a great
way to share supper and fellowship after
the thought provoking messages from
Pastor Woods.
Thank you to all who set up and clean
the communion ware as well as changing
paraments and banners in the church.
