Please note that I may walk to the church so please come even if you don’t see a car in the parking lot. District Conference— Saginaw First UMC Oct 19 at 9 am Registration $10 due by Oct 15. Fun Night at Great Lakes Loons Stadium even though the Camels lost against the Whitecaps 7 –6. Church Rummage Sale held last week was a Success! Over $300 was raised for the church and local missions. Noisy Offering Sept 29 – The Horizon of Hope is a local outreach mission which provides products for the needy. Approximately 20 fami- lies each month have been provided with es- sentials such as toilet paper, dish soap, paper towels – goods that are unable to be purchased using a “Bridge Card”. The Whittemore United Methodist Church has set aside the 5 th Sunday of each month for a Noisy Offering collection to go towards this community outreach. If you prefer, please make a check payable to the Whittemore United Methodist Church – with a notation on the memo line “Horizon of Hope”.
