1. A sudoriferous gland (sweat gland) is responsible for producing perspiration, or sweat.
• What do you think would happen if a person did not have an adequate # of sudoriferous glands
2. Sebaceous glands (oil glands) produce sebum into the hair follicles to lubricate hair and skin.
• What happens to the skin and hair if the sebaceous glands do not produce adequate sebum
3. Nerve Endings (sensory input, protection, temperature control )
• What would you anticipate would happen if a person did not have nerve endings in their skin?

• Choose skin disorder your will research and present to class. Presentation must include description of disease, cause (etiology) of disease, prognosis and treatments available. Can present as power point or poster must have pictures.
