Children not yet potty trained must wear a swim diaper.

Flotation Devices:Most types of fotation devices are permitted in the pool area. The only fotation devices that are NOT permitted are the cubes where the block is in the back and there is a belt around the child’s waist. Please remember that any child using a fotation device (regardless of their age) must have an adult or responsible person, 14 years or older, in the water supervising them. If you have a question about a specific fotation device, you may contact Dave Holstein at (614) 436-2743.

Ladybugs and Buckeyes were given a large collection of fans in 2010 and with the help of the curator of the North American Fan Association, all 200 have been photographed and identified. There will be about 18 of the collection brought to the program. The Worthington Historical Society will also have several fans on display from their collection. Following the demonstration and show, decorate a fan of your own to take home. Lemonade and cookies will be served. Feldenkrais Method®—Awareness Through Movement®Age: 18Y and up • Topping RoomShorter class—try out this method! Feldenkrais lessons may be done standing, sitting or lying down. They explore basic movements in great detail, in a gentle manner that evokes in adults the quick, spontaneous learning of young children. This “reprograms” the brain for better posture and self-image, greater ease and pleasure in movement, and fuller relaxation in rest. Chronic tension, pain, anxiety, disability, and effects of aging are not confronted directly, but are simply left behind in a natural process of learning and improvement. Students are often surprised to find that the smallest and most gentle work produces the most profound changes. This method was developed by the late Israeli physicist Moshe Feldenkrais. Teachers and teacher trainings are certified by the Feldenkrais Guild. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing. Instructor: Melinda Murphy#22604 Tue 11:15AM–NOON Aug 27–Sep 17 R $23 | NR $30
