Uploading product on online shopping sites and creation of
promotion offer to highlight our product in their site.Employ new
strategy for stock maintenance of the product uploaded on online
shopping sites via Microsoft excel on daily basis.Maintaining a
record of the entire product collection and measuring their precise
weight and dimensions.Handle queries from IndiaMart and sending
them quotations.Meeting with B2B alliances regarding promotion of
Twist-A-Drink recipe maker.Understanding the documentation and
formalities done during shipment of goods.Preparation of
presentation and advertisement ads for recipe maker.Actual cost
calculation of Recipe Maker.Hiring product design interns for
product development.
Achievements for the week: At the end of the 1st week I made
myself aware of the entire products from appealing collection of
OMG Trends. I drew a Growth-share matrix of OMG Trends to identify
the product and group them in different categories. I designed a
new schema in Microsoft excel using filters for effective
maintenance of inventory and stocks. I managed the seller account
in online shopping sites to understand the working of e-commerce
sites and their margin deciding criteria. I measured the precise
weight and dimensions to maintain the record on the seller account
in online shopping sites which decided the price margin from each
product.I handled queries from the IndiaMart and sent them
quotations along with presentations if required. With IndiaMart I
met two buyers who are ready to buy our two products in bulk
quantity and successfully it is on finalization stage for purchase
order. I was employed to be a part of new shipment order which
helped me to learn the documentation and formalities required
during the shipment. I prepared different advertisement posters to
do a pilot survey for our new product Twist-A-Drink recipe maker. I
contacted professors in National Institute of Fashion Technology
and Pearl Academy to hire product design interns. I calculated the
actual cost of a product from importing them to finishing and
packaging to get an idea of the profit margin of the company for
each product. Future work plans: Understanding International
Business and its procedure. Study the files of different
international buyers of OMG Trends.
