Tri-Fold Shutter Card

Featuring To A Wild Rose Bundle

Measurements:

• Card Base – Rococo Rose CS – 5 ½” x 10 ½”. o On the 5 ½” side, line up the edge at 1 ¼” and cut from 1 ¾” to 8 ¾” on

both sides. o On the 10 ½” side, score @ 1 ¾” between the cut lines. Full score at 3 ½”,

full score at 7” and score between the cut lines at 8 ¾” • Mat – Smoky Slate CS – 5 ¼” x 10 ¼”.

o On the 5 ¼” side, line up the edge at 1”. Cut from 1 ½” to 8 ¾” on both sides.

o On the 10 ¼” side, line up the edge at 1 ½” and cut from 1” to 4 ¼” on both sides.

o On the 10 ¼” side, cut at 3 ¼”, again at 3 ¼” and then turn 90 degrees and cut at 3 ¼”

o Be sure to keep the rectangle that you’ve cut. This will become the mats on the card front.

• DSP Mat – Woven Threads DSP -5” x 10”. o On the 5” side, line up the edge at ¾”. Cut from 1 ¼” to 8 ½” on both

sides. o Turn to the 10” side, line up at 1 ¼” and cut from ¾” to 4 ¼”, connecting

the cut lines. o Cut at 3”, 3” and turn 90 degrees and cut at 3” o Be sure to keep the DSP rectangle that you’ve cut. This will become the

mats on the card front. • Roses – Whisper White CS – two @ 3 ¼” x 3 ¼” • Leaves – Whisper White CS – two @ 7” x 2 ¾” • Sentiment – Whisper White CS – one @ and one @ • Center Mats – Cut from the rectangle from the large Smoky Slate mat above. One

@ 3 ¼” x 2 ¾” and two @ 2 ¾” x 1 ½” • DSP Mats - Cut from the rectangle from the large DSP mat above. One @ 3” x 2 ½” and two @ 2 ½” x 1 ¼”

Stamping/Inking/Coloring:

a. Sentiments – Smoky Slate – Fussy cut both. b. Rococo Rose – Using the Stamparatus, line up your stamps on the plates.

This is a three-step stamp. i. 1st step – 1st Generation Smoky Slate

ii. 2nd step – 1st Generation Rococo Rose iii. 3rd step – 2nd Generation Rococo Rose

c. Seaside Spray Rose - Using the Stamparatus, line up your stamps on the plates. This is a three-step stamp.

i. 1st step – 1st Generation Smoky Slate ii. 2nd step – 1st Generation Seaside Spray

iii. 3rd step – 2nd Generation Seaside Spray d. Leaves - Using the Stamparatus, line up your stamps on the plates. I used

only two steps. You will need 6 images. i. 1st step – 1st Generation Smoky Slate

ii. 2nd step - 1st Generation Mint Macaron Die Cutting/Embossing:

1. Emboss the three smaller pieces of the Woven Threads DSP with the Tin Tile embossing folder.

2. Die cut the two roses with the Wild Rose dies. 3. Die cut the six leaf sets with the Wild Rose dies.

Assembly:

1. Card Base - reinforce all fold lines with a bone folder 2. Wet glue the large DP mat to the Smoky Slate mat. 3. Wet glue the mat assembly to the card front. 4. Wet glue the embossed mats to the smaller Smoky Slate mats. 5. Wet glue the smaller mats to the center section of the card front. 6. Wet glue two of the leaf clusters to the upper left of the card front. 7. Dissect the remaining four leaf sets, removing the smallest leaf from each. 8. Wet glue two leaf sets and the Rococo Rose to the lower left of the card front. 9. Using a stylus and mat, give some texture to the leaves. Apply dimensionals.

Apply dimensionals to the Seaside Spray rose. 10. Pop the leaves and rose to the center panel of the card front. 11. Pop the “Blessed” sentiment to the upper left card front. 12. Pop the “to be your friend” sentiment to the lower right card front.
