Vintage Step Card with Coordinating Gift Box

Featuring the Ornate Garden Suite

Measurements Card:

• Card Base – Whisper White CS – one @ 12” x 6”, score @ 6”. One @ 11” x 6”, score at 6” and 8 ½”.

• Mats – Early Espresso – two @ 5 ¾” x 5 ¾” and two @ 5 ¾” x 2 ¼”. • DSP Mats – Ornate Garden – one @5 ½” x 5 ½” and two @ 5 ½” x 2” • Inside Mat – Whisper White CS – 5 ½” x 5 1/8” • Border Trims –Whisper White CS – 6” x 2 ¼”. Terracotta Tile CS – 1” x 6 ½”. • Sentiment – Whisper White CS – 2 ¼” x 5 ¼”. • Flowers – Mint Macaron and Terracotta Tile, one each 5 ½” x 2” Crushed Curry

• Box – Thick Whisper White CS – one @ 8” x 8”, score @ ¾”, 6 ¾”, and 7 ½”, turn and repeat. One @ 6 ¾” x 6 ½”, score on the 6 ½” side @ 6”, turn and score @ 34/”

• Mat – Early Espresso CS – 5 ¾” x 5 ¾”. • Die Cut Mat – Terracotta Tile CS – 5 ½” x 5 ½”. • Focal – Whisper White CS – 4 ¼” x 5 ¾”. • Butterflies – Ornate Garden DSP – 3 ½” x 1 ¼”. • Ribbon – Ornate Garden ribbon Combo Pack - Terracotta Tile – 8” • Pearls – 5 medium, 11 small

Die Cutting and Punching:

• Card o Sentiment – cut with the die from Ornate Layers. o Border Trim – Whisper White – trim with the die from Ornate Borders. o Border Trim – Terracotta Tile – trim with the die from Ornate Borders. o Sprigs – these images with be gathered from the border die cut on the

coordinating gift box. o Flowers – Terracotta Tile and Mint Macaron – punch three images, each

paper, with the Medium Daisy punch. o Flowers – Crushed Curry - punch three images with the Medium Daisy

punch and three images with the Small Bloom Punch. o Butterflies – Ornate Garden DSP – punch two small and one large

butterfly with the Butterfly Duet Punch. Terracotta Tile – punch one large and one small butterfly with the Butterfly Duet Punch.

o Leaves – Old Olive – punch three images with the Leaf punch. • Box

o Focal Image – Whisper White – cut the large frame with the die from Ornate Layers.

o Border Die – Terracotta Tile – cut with the die from Ornate Borders. ** Be sure to retrieve the small sprigs from the die cut for the card.

o Butterflies - Ornate Garden DSP - punch three small butterflies with the Butterfly Duet Punch.

Stamping/Inking/Coloring:

• Card o Focal sentiment – Ornate Thanks set in Old Olive. o Leaves – Ornate Style set – the texture stamp in Old Olive. Ink all the

leaves in Old Olive. Twist each leaf using a tweezer. o Apply Wink of Stella on each of the three Terracotta Tile sprigs. o Ink one small butterfly and the large DSP butterfly in Mint Macaron. Ink

the other small DSP butterfly and the large and small Terracotta Tile butterflies in Terracotta Tile.

o Inside Mat – Stamp the large floral image from Ornate Style, second generation in Early Espresso. Stamp the sentiments from Ornate Thanks in Old Olive.

• Box o Floral Image – from Ornate Style in Early Espresso. Color with the

following Stampin’ Blends. § Leaves – Light and dark Old Olive § Large center flowers – Light and dark Calypso Coral § Small Flowers – Light and dark Mango Melody § Flower Centers – Dark Soft Suede. § Daisies – Light and dark Daffodil Delight. § Three large pearls – Dark Calypso Coral.

o Sentiment – from Ornate Thanks in Old Olive. o Ink the butterflies in Mint Macaron.

Assembly:

• Card o Fold the card on the fold lines and attach the step portion to the front of

the card base. o Adhere the DSP to the Early Espresso mats. o Adhere the large mat to the card front. o Adhere the small mat to the front of the step. o Adhere the Whisper White die cut to the back of the second small mat. o Adhere the small mats to the steps. o Pop the sentiment to the front step. o Pop one small DSP butterfly to the small Terracotta Tile butterfly. Adhere

to the sentiment. o Adhere the two small sprigs to the lower left of the sentiment. o Spritz the small flower images with Champagne Shimmer Mist. Crumble

each and allow to dry. After drying, open each and adhere together, offsetting. Adhere three small pearls to the center. Adhere to the sentiment.

o Large Flowers - Spritz the small flower images with Champagne Shimmer Mist. Shape the flowers and build as shown in the video tutorial.

o Large Butterfly – Pop the small DSP butterfly to the large DSP one. Pop the unit to the large Terracotta Tile butterfly.

o Dry fit your flower arrangement. Adhere the sprigs. o Adhere the flowers. Tuck in and adhere the leaf sets behind the flowers. o Create a 3-loop bow from the linen thread and adhere with a glue dot. o Adhere the butterfly.

o Adhere the Terracotta Tile border die cut to the back of the inside Whisper White mat. Trim as needed.

o Adhere the stamped mat to the Early Espresso mat. • Box

o Fold and trim the pieces for the box. o Construct the box. o Adhere the die cut mat to the Early Espresso mat. o Adhere the unit to the box front. o Pop the focal image. o Adhere the butterflies and pearls. o Tie a bow with the Terracotta Tile ribbon and adhere with a glue dot.
