The series is entitled: “The Cross – Live to Die.” This series is by Andy Stanley. We encourage everyone to attend.

Easter LiliesIf you would like to place an Easter Lily in the church for Easter Sunday, please sign the list on the Bulletin Board. The cost is $10.00each. The deadline for signing up is April 9th. There are envelopes on the Ushers Table for your lily. The final order will only include those that have been paid for by April 9th.

Grass CuttingThe season for cutting grass is upon us. The church needs your help in cutting grass this year. There is a list on the church bulletin board. Please sign the list for the week(s) you would be willing to cut the grass. If one or more persons would like to cut together, space has been provided for that purpose. The church has a riding mower. If you have questions concerning the mower, contact Clifton Harrison. Thank you for your help!

Youth Fundrasier – Spaghetti SupperThose attending the Big Stuf conference in June will have a Spaghetti Supper on April 13th to help with the cost of their trip. The supper will begin @ 6:00pm with the Sunday Night Live program following. Donations will be accepted.

The Living Lord’s SupperThe “Living Lord’s Supper’ will be on Thursday, April 17 th @ 8:00pm in the Fellowship Hall. We need volunteers to help with this worship service. We need

a total of 13 men and about 4 women. If you can help, please sign the list on the church bulletin board.

Vacation Bible SchoolVBS will be June 22-26. Sign-up sheets for helpers and workers will follow.

Handbell ChoirsThe Music Department is organizing a “Children’s Handbell Choir” and a “Adult Handbell Choir.” If you would like to be a ringer in one of these choirs, please sign the list on the church bulletin board.

From the Praise BandOur praise and worship team is in need of an electronic drum set. Even though you cannot replace the sound of real acoustic drums, sometimes they can be a challenge to control from a volume standpoint. An electronic set gives the person running sound absolute and total control of the drum volume level. This will enable us to lower the volume on stage significantly, which will help us to push the voices over the entire band more effectively. The cost of this drum set is $1,500.00 (Gifts received - $850.00). If you would like to help with this need, please use the envelope provided on the church bulletin board. If you have any further questions please contact Josh. Thanks!

Stop Hunger NowOn Sunday, March 30th we had a Meal Packaging Event for Stop Hunger Now. Thanks is expressed to everyone who gave and helped with the event. We collected $ 2,727.94 for the event. We packaged 10,000 meals. We also support NLHS with a gift of $100.00 for their Stop Hunger Now event on Friday, April 4th. We now have a balance for our next event of $ 127.94. Thank You for your HELP to STOP HUNGER NOW!

How marvelous! How wonderful! And my song shall ever be:How marvelous! How wonderful! Is my Savior’s love for me!

He took my sins and my sorrows, He made them His very own; He bore the burden to Calv’ry, And suffered and died alone.

How can I say things for the things You have done for me – Things so undeserved, yet You give to prove Your love for me? The voices of a million angels could not express my gratitude – All that I am and ever hope to be, I owe it all to Thee.

To God be the glory, To God be the glory, To God be the glory for the things He has done. With His blood He has saved me; With His pow’r He has raised me. To God be the glory for the things He has done. (First Church # 2057646 CCLI # 17566
