This week we will be continuing to learn how to study the Word of God by getting our hands dirty and actually doing it! We will also play some 9 square, and spend some time with our small groups!

celebrating their 35th year of serving our community. On January
22 from 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM we have rented out the entire Grand
Rapids Children’s Museum for all of our families to enjoy for FREE.

NEW TO ORCHARD HILL? Come meet the staff in a relaxed brunch on January 31 following the morning worship service. This is a great place to ask questions and hear what Orchard Hill is all about. The whole family is invited.
Throughout the month of January, we will be collecting
men’s winter coats for Degage Ministries. Please bring your
new or GENTLY used coats to the marked bin near the
West entry no later than Sunday, January 31! Let’s spread
the warmth of God’s love around town this winter!
CHILD SITTER NEEDED: For the single and parenting group on Wednesday evenings starting at 6:15 PM - 8:00 PM. Come and help out single parents for an evening. If you can help even one Wednesday night please sign up on the Connection Card.

2016 WOMEN’S RETREAT: On beautiful Mackinaw Island from May 18-20. The theme is: “Be Not Anxious”. Keynote speaker is Philip Yancey. Pick up the full details in the retreat packet at the Connection Corner.
STEPHEN MINISTRY CLASS: A new Stephen Ministry class will begin again in February on Thursday evenings. This is a 20 week class which teaches the skills needed to walk along side of someone in need or crisis. The commitment is a year and a half—a half a year training and a year of service. The people who have taken the class are never disappointed, the skills taught not only help our congregation, it will help in all areas of life. VOLUNTEER AT KHPS COMMUNITY NIGHT: Kenowa Hills Public Schools is
hosting a community night to inform parents about ways in which to help their
children succeed. Orchard Hill will be hosting a few craft tables that night to help
keep the kids entertained while their parents watch the educational film. We are
looking for 5-10 volunteers for Thursday, January 21 from 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM.

We are thrilled that you have joined us for worship this morning. We continue an
important series that addresses a topic that is at the center of our national
conversation: Marriage. Over the past few years we have suddenly found
ourselves in a world where marriage is consistently being redefined and the look of
marriage is changing at rapid speed. So in this series we'll be diving into God’s
word to see if there is any way we can untangle ourselves from the mess that our
