1914 and ended

in November 11th

1918.

Nearly 10

million people

died.

Italy joined the

Allies in May

1915.

There was more than 30

countries in the war .

The United Sates joined

World War I during the

final year .

Around 11% of the

population of France were

killed or wounded.

Here are some

countries that were

in the war. France,

United Kingdom ,

Germany Russia, New

Zealand ,Australia,

Serbia ,India, Canada,

Italy.

soldiers live in

trenches.

Trenches were

made of mud,

wood, sandbags

and straw.
