It lets you be in control of the camera and not vice versa. Content: Basic concepts of Photography including composition, exposure, lighting, lenses, depth of field, macro photography, use of tripods, polarizing filters etc. Development of cameras and accessories. Digital concepts and features of modern DSLR and bridge cameras. Studio sessions cover table tops, still life photography, food photography, jewellery, portraits and fashion. Basic use of Photoshop for Digital Image Processing. Method: Lecture demonstrations, practical workshops, special studio session, field trips (sports, architecture and street scenes), exhibition. Duration: 10 sessions, Saturday 6.30p.m. - 8.30p.m. and, Sunday 10.00a.m. to 12.00noon Course Fee: Rs. 10,000/- (Inclusive of GST, to be paid in Demand Draft) Demand Draft to be drawn in favour of “Xavier Institute of Communications” payable at Mumbai. Camera Required: 1) SLR camera (Film or Digital) or 2) Digital camera with manual adjustments for Aperture & Shutter. Instructor: J.B. Mistry Students are requested to bring their camera for every session. Register at the earliest, (admission is on first come, first serve).
