Workshop on implementation of "Charter for Water Recycling and Pollution Prevention in Pulp and Paper Industries". A consultative workshop was organized by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) for the implementation of "Charter for Water Recycling and Pollution Prevention in Pulp and Paper Industries". The workshop was held on 29.09.2014 at Tagore Chamber, Scope Complex, New Delhi and chaired by the Member Secretary, CPCB. About hundred delegates including officials from CPCB, State Pollution Control boards, National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG), Central Paper and Pulp Research Institute (CPPRI) and the representatives from paper and pulp industries across the country attended the workshop. It was discussed to adopt the charter by various industries within a predetermined time frame. The charter has already been implemented by the pulp and paper industries along Ganga main stem basin. Adopting online monitoring system and Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) by the pulp and paper sector was also another focus point of the workshop.

Workshop on implementation of "Charter for Water Recycling and Pollution

Pollution Prevention in Pulp and Paper Industries". The workshop was held on
