ATLAS has pioneered the manufacturing of high quality industrial knives for almost last 60 years and is manufacturing all kind of wood working knives used in Pulp, Plywood, MDF/PARTICLE/OSB Board, Chipping industry and Saw Mills. The most important characteristics of these knives are edge retention, shock resisting ability, toughness and dimensional stability.

1.2631 (A 8 Modified) is the most widely used steel for wood working tools. Other commonly used steel grades are 1.2362, 1.2379, 1.3355, 1.3343, K-340 and for some applications Tungsten Carbide, Carbon steel and 5160 are also used. For Veneer slicing application, knives are available in compound steel versions. We offer inlays in 8% chrome steel and various other grades. Each Knife coming out of our plants is the result of the hard work of our 600 strong work forces which has the technical competence and the relevant experience. They are equipped with the latest equipment for Machining, Heat Treatment and Quality Assurance. Working within the framework of ISO 9001 they ensure that every blade measures up to the Industries benchmarks in Quality and provides the customer with an excellent end product.
